Are you all geared up and ready for 2022? I sure am!

Also – thanks to the people that caught my typo in my last email, I had said ‘last email of 2022’ and it was still 2021! lol!

With the start of a new year (and one that seems to be shaping up to be just as crazy as last year – yikes!), you might be wondering how you can save even more time on social media.

Maybe it’s that resolution “Be on social media less”, or “spend less time scrolling”

If you’ve made that commitment to yourself, then it’s time to get serious about planning your content in advance.

There is no shortage of ways you can do this, but I’m going to give you my top 5 tips for planning content in advance and scheduling it so you can sit back and relax!

  1. Find a content calendar you will actually use and follow, then print it out or have it on your desktop to refer to it often! If you don’t have a copy of my content roadmap it’s here: Confident with Content the Community_Editorial Calendar 2022.pdf
  2. Create a theme for your daily or weekly posts if you’re stuck on ideas (example: #MondayMotivation #MidWeekTip etc).
  3. Write your content in weekly or monthly batches. Avoid logging in every day to create new content. Try to have a weekly ‘social media morning’ where you spend NO MORE than one hour creating your posts and scheduling them for the week.
  4. Make use of online templates for images AND content. Shameless plug here for my Confident with Content™ the Community – you get 5 days/week fill in the blank content and image templates to go with every post
  5. Make use of a scheduling tool that you will actually use all the time – repeat after me “No more manual posting!” …except for reels or stories 😉

Did you know you can use Facebook business suite to schedule your posts to Facebook and Instagram in advance? Here’s the link if you’ve never tried it: Confident with Content™ the Community

If you’re ready to get on the content scheduling train before it leaves the station for 2022, let’s connect! I offer free 10-minute coffee chats on zoom, you’re welcome to book one to brainstorm with me or see if the membership is the right fit for you. Grab your spot here:
